The Prom @ New Brighton
“The Prom @ New Brighton” is a project on the sea front in New Brighton in Wirral, which is alongside the Floral Pavilion. T Sullivan engineering carried out the steel work for this project, and the build is now complete and has been handed over for occupation by the new residents. The construction of this building was challenging at times, due to the nature of the build. It was a progressive build of steel, masonry, steel and so on, and the location of the site provided an ever changing environment due to high winds and heavy rain. Due to the high finish coatings to the steel work it had to be constructed in advance of site measurements being taken, so the overall construction had to be built to tight tolerances to make sure the next level of construction tied in with the one above.
Ian Ferro, contracts manager at the principle contractor WH Snow Ltd, was able to provide the following comment; “This was a difficult project to complete which had many challenges and we would like to thank T Sullivan Engineering for their input and cooperation on the contract, their assistance with the demands of the programme and the various unforeseen steel work items that were required on the project were most appreciated”.
We are pleased with the overall look of the finished development and hope the new residents will be very happy in their new homes.
