Sullivan engineering were requested to construct a working platform, complete with access to an existing steel framed building at its salt gritting depot, to allow operatives high level access for cleaning vehicles, Chris and the team provided all detailed drawings for approval, The works on site were carried out to a very high standard, taking into account all the relevant H&S aspects as the works were carried out during gritting operation’s. Sullivan Engineering were awarded the Secondary / Sundry Steelwork Package, value approximately £250k on St John Bosco Arts College, an £18m all girl Catholic school for LCC.

They performed exceptionally well on what was a particularly demanding project with exacting deadlines. T.Sullivan Engineering have now worked on two of my project, the current one being a £2.2million refurbishment to a sports centre with the steelwork package to the value of £50k. I was very keen to use them on my current project as they did such a good job for me on the first scheme.

This package was all based around providing new steelwork support framing to internal spaces of the existing building to replace load bearing walls being demolished as part of the scheme. The surveying of the existing structure therefore had to be highly accurate and the project required a quick turn around on development of drawing for approval by consultants as well as manufacture of steelwork following approval. T.Sullivan met these demands without a single glitch.

In my opinion this company have established themselves extremely well from the top down. Chris the director is a real pleasure to work with on the basis of good communication, meeting demanding timescales and working closely with the main contractor throughout the project, no matter how pressured the project may be.
