New school Archbishop Blanch in Liverpool
T Sullivan Engineering helped Willmott Dixon complete the new school Archbishop Blanch in Liverpool, which was part of the schools for the future programme. Along with numerous secondary steel work items, we provided handrails to the 4 staircore’s, balustrades around the atriums, plant access staircase to the roof, and other handrails to break out and outdoor educational areas.
The 16 million pound, three story building provides a new state of the art facility for the pupils to be educated and boast a solar-panelled roof, synthetic astro turf hockey pitch, theatre recording and dance studio. The works were all completed on time for the staff and pupil to take possession in September 2015.
This was our first contract with Willmott Dixon, and on the back of this project we have now secured and commenced works on our second contract in Yorkshire, on the Farsley joint schools protect.
